Join the Green Card Day campaign!

Have your voice heard!

Simply mail a green postcard to your Senators and Representative ON May 5th.
Prepare now but MAIL on Monday May 5th 2008!

GOAL

The goal is to unite Americans for the purpose of changing current immigration policies. Most Americans feel that, at least some parts, of The United State’s immigration policies and practices are flawed. We need to send a clear united message to lawmakers and administrators, at every level (federal, state and local) that we expect affective change.

THE PLAN

We are designating one day a year as a reminder that America is being victimized as long as ILLEGAL immigration continues. That day is May 5th… and being called Green Card Day! It is the hope that every May 5th will see all legal American citizens taking what legal steps they can to curb the scourge, specifically by mailing green (post) cards to lawmakers. The green (post) cards will show lawmakers how seriously we consider this issue.
Please PREPARE your Green (post) cards ahead of time and MAIL them on Monday May 5th. The more green (post) cards we send the stronger our voice will be! Hopefully we will inundate congress with our message.

GREEN CARDS

One side of the card should be addressed to the recipient along with a stamp. The other side should be a message of your choice (no profanity, vulgarity or threats.) Just a simple message reflecting you feelings about illegal immigration. Example messages here.

PREPARING & MAILING

You can make a statement and have your voice heard for a relatively low investment. The cost to mail a standard postcard is just 24 cents. You can mail 10 for only $2.40 or 100 for only $24.

Click here http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml to find out who represents you and their address.

You can certainly make your own post cards, or you can purchase them. One of the easiest ways may be to buy green “index cards.” Simply fill out the address and write your own message on the other side.

Have your cards ready to be mailed ahead of time but MAIL THEM on 5/5/08

MOTIVATONS

It is understandable that so many people want to come to America for a better life. America was built on immigration…LEGAL immigration and there is a big difference. If immigration is not regulated it will hurt America! Immigration enforcement is about securing America both from potential terrorist threats and also problems that crop up from the presents of illegals. When a person chooses to cross into America illegally they have committed a crime and their very presence costs Americans financially in many ways including the areas of…
· Border Protection/security
· Healthcare
· INS enforcement
· Schooling
· Local law enforcement of crimes

LEGAL, regulated immigration is very good thing! It makes America stronger to have legal migration of people who want to make America their home. If it's not done legally America will eventually collapse.
